I also hold a bachelor’s degree in psychology, and master’s degrees in both clinical social work and forensic psychology.
In 2001, I joined the Air Force as an AC-130 mechanic (Crew Chief), and served as aero repair and crash recovery. Then in 2010 I changed careers to mental health, still a federal employee, and now I work alongside the legal system helping veterans with legal challenges access the care they need, hopefully, as an alternative to long-term incarceration.
Over the years, between my entertainment pursuits and employment, I gained a lot of experience meeting with, interacting with, and making friends with all sort of wonderful people and interesting characters.
Some were more professional and refined, others were more wayward and rebellious. I also met some unsavory characters and con artists along the way.
Rarely do hustlers, thieves, and pickpockets like to share their secrets, but when they do and you can see in their eyes the thrill it gives them to talk about and demonstrate what they know, and it is fascinating to hear the exciting stories from the life of a professional grifter.
These individuals live in a world full of secrets and unique characters that most of us will never get to meet without the risk of being conned at the same time.
Nonetheless, everyone I met throughout my life varied widely in where they were from, their hobbies, personal tastes, interests, music, personalities, styles, cultures/beliefs, morality, and how they seek to be seen in the world. It is always interesting meeting new people and learning about them.
My education, professional and personal life experiences, and personal struggles have taught me how to mingle with many different crowds and types of people, both formally and informally, professionally and non-professionally, what to pay attention to, what to watch out for, and how to protect yourself.
This also includes my knowledge about criminal thinking, working with mental health, recognizing dangerous mental health, situational awareness, property protection, manipulation, and so on.

Magicians, grifters (con artists), street hustlers, and pickpockets draw a lot of skills from each other and each is an art in its own right.
Entertainment and speaking allows me to combine all my education and experiences in unique and fun ways to share my knowledge and experiences with others. But, it also allows me inside knowledge on how professional criminals and their thinking works.
Plus, everyday, I get to test that knowledge repeatably on new unsuspecting participants - from an ethical and entertainment approach of course.
These skills require an expert level of knowledge in sleight of hand, psychology, deception, and situation management.
This means being able to rapidly build rapport in any given moment, maintaining control as long as needed, and using attention and deception to lead the moment in the intended direction.
-
These skills can also be applied ethically to business, such as lead generation, sales and negotiation, and the importance of strategic planning and practice.
I hold a lot of experience in a lot of different areas and always enjoy sharing what I know with other professionals.
